ANSWER --> I have checked with the CAD plans for the laboratory and I confirm that I can accept bids including tables up to a (maximum) 1500mm x 2500mm. Again, I refute the implicit claim made in the question as confirmed by the fact that we will accept bids from suppliers who offer both "cryo in table" and "cryo on table".

"Can you also let us know if the tender documentation will be officially modified ?"
ANSWER --> I am still waiting for feedback from the legal department of TUM whether we have to officially modify the technical specifications to allow bids from companies offering the "cryostat on the table". As soon as I hear back from them I will post here. Until then, I confirm here publicly (visible to all bidders) that both "cryostat in table" and "cryostat on table" is fine for us.

"We confirm that in our opinion there is no justification to include the optical table in that tender as it can be purchased very easily outside. It should not be allowed to maintain the purchase of the optical table within the tender just because one supplier cannot sell the cryostat without it."
ANSWER --> We have a need for a "cryostat and table" solution and are fully within our rights to request bids that include both components, representing "equipment for optical spectroscopy" as outlined in the title of our tender.

Thanks for the question - the type of fiber should be offered in order to provide the lowest losses at the center detection wavelength(s). All of the specified fibers would seem to be suitable at 1,3µm and 1.55µm wavelengths. However, they will not be suitable at the MIR wavelengths where different fibers are likely needed. The main evaluation criterion will be the "system detection efficiency " in the specific center wavelengths mentioned, including the fibers. Hope this answers your question!

We will indeed consider bids from suppliers who do not offer a cryostat "integrated into optical table", but the bid must include information (with price estimate) on suitable optical tables that would allow the cryostat system to fulfill the technical specifications outlined in the tender. The size of this table that should be mentioned in the bid is the one described in the technical desciption.

This will allow us to properly compare the "total price" of systems that both include optical tables and those for which an optical table must be purchased separately.

The mobility argument is not relevant for us since we will install the system as a "fixed install" in an optical lab and not use the cryostat in multiple locations.

We refute the suggestion that the tender is specified to favor any particular supplier, as confirmed by this consideration of cryostats that are not integrated into, but also onto, an optical table.
