in the document "Special Application Requierements Hydroformed Bellows" on page 3 we asked for a certifcation according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

We withdraw this condition for qualification. Instead of the certification we kindly ask you to fill out the attached form instead.

Due to that change in our tender documents we extend the deadline of the submission of the tender documents to 1 more week.

The new deadline for the submission of the tender ends April 30, 2025 at 12pm German Time.

Dear all,

please note the following information:

Question 1:
In the Short_spec_Hydroformed_bellows, table 1, page 1, there is a total amount of bellows as the following list:
- Type 1, Required number of bellows 6
- Type 2, Required number of bellows 9
- Type 3, Required number of bellows 8
- Type 4, Required number of bellows 8
Total is 31.
The table 2, page 2, and the Scope of delivery are for 21 bellows.

The tables are also not in accordance in terms of kind of bellows. For example, in table 1 the number of bellows with a +/-2 lateral stroke is 3, but in table 2 I count 11 bellows with a +/-2 mm of lateral stroke.

Could you kindly provide more details?

We cannot offer hydraulically molded bellows. Are elastomer-molded bellows also approved?

Answer 1:
No, we require stainless steel bellows.

Question 2:
What is the difference between the requests "Hydroformed Bellows for Super FRS" and "Pumping Chambers for SFRS"? Is it the same requirement for expansion joints or are additional requirements described there?

Answer 2:
Both the "Pumping Chamber" and "Hydroformed Bellows Assembly" tenders include same type of expansion joints (DN400 - hydroformed bellows) . However, they are tendered separately due to project-specific reasons. Additionally, the pumping chamber project includes support frames as well as the design of the chamber with pumping ports, which must support heavy 150?kg ion getter pumps.

There are no drawing uploaded. Is it due a mistake or the drawings are not upload in the documents of tender?

No drawings are uploaded. This is a mistake (because of standardized documents). All relevant information are found in the Specification and Short specification.

Question 1: The technical specifications is also published for tender 35/2600025670FAIR: pumping chamber for SFRS: why?
It seems that this Tender is for the supply of the same hydroformed bellows necessary for Pumping Chambers. Could you explain this, please?

Answer 1: . Both tenders involve hydroformed bellows with the same open aperture and functional requirements. However, the pumping chamber project includes support frames as well as the design of the chamber with pumping ports, which must support heavy 150?kg ion getter pumps.
In this context, the two projects have different engineering scopes and were therefore split into two separate tenders.
