This is to inform you that due to a bidder question, we internally discussed that the following suitability criterion is not needed:

- relevant vacuum/pressure vessel standards (EN, ASME, or equivalent)

Due to this fact, we have deleted that point and extended the deadline for participation requests until Monday, April 28, 2025 at 10:00 am.

Also, there was a typing error in the announcement; instead of " 50% price, 70% performance criteria" it must say " 50% price, 50% performance criteria". It had already been correct in the document "CSX 42 - Angebotswertungsmethoden und -kriterien-11".

we have received bidder questions that we answer herewith:

1. In the detailed specification the document F-TG-S-3.45e " Supports - Alignment Bridges" is referred to.
It should say " F-TG-S-3.50e_Alignment_Bridges_20120905". This document is uploaded under tender documents.

2. In the detailed specification under 5.2.1 it is stated that FAIR will deliver a draft design (3D models and 2D drawings) of the bellows.
We can provide a draft design, including both 3D models and 2D drawings if necessary, as shown in the image attached. This is intended as general guidance for the design of the bellows structure and the required open aperture. However, it does not specify the number of convolutions in the bellows. The bidder shall be responsible for designing the bellows.

Dear Sir or Madam,

We have received a bidder question regarding the flanges that we answer herewith:

Special flanges are necessary due to our very limited installation space. We do not have sufficient room to insert screws, including stud bolts in most cases.

The bidder must consider welding lips on the flanges to prevent distortion caused by the heat generated during welding or explore alternatives such as electron beam welding, which minimizes distortion.

We have experience with long holes, and they function well. In the case of slotted holes, the contractor may consider performing an FEM analysis to determine the required flange thickness.

Therefore we kindly ask you to factor in non-standard flanges for your cost estimate.
