Extraktionsseptum 3 and Lambertson Steerer

For the SIS 100 synchrotron of the FAIR project, two normal conducting septa, a conventional one and a Lambertson Septum (called Lambertson Steerer) are to be purchased. The scope of delivery comprises the magnets themselves, a common vacuum chamber, a baking jacket and two baking jackets for flanges, connection box, stand, an external beam stop holder, alignment feet, and some smaller parts, as well as design of the above and magnetic and mechanical measurements. Magnetic and essential mechanical design parameters will be provided by the Company.
